MIRACLE SEEDS IN NEW ZEALAND

Lifting us up in prayer…
as we are on the road attending camps and recruiting new churches for RFKC.

Your faithful support...

We are so thankful for the blessing of your financial support.  Your wonderful gifts are helping us reach more children than ever with the love of Jesus!

Interceding for the abused and neglected…

Everyday thousands more children suffer horrific abused.  We believe that we are a strategic part of breaking that cycle in the lives of the children we reach.

Murrishes in New Zealand!

21 years ago Tricia set off for New Zealand as a Rotary Exchange student.  We were already dating at the time and knew that a year apart would be a big test for our young relationship.  Tricia lived with the Fairhall family, who not only pastored a church, but were foster parents as well. Her year overseas was amazing and our relationship grew stronger than ever. Tricia’s one desire was to return someday.  Little did we know that this dream would be fulfilled and include bringing the entire family to share the ministry of RFKC!

The momentum for this trip began in October of 2006 at a prayer and goal setting retreat for the leadership team of RFKC.  Wayne Tesch, the founder of RFKC, Inc., challenged each of the ambassadors to ask God for a dream that would take a miracle for it to come to reality.  During this time of prayer and seeking God, I felt the impression that my “miracle” would be to share the ministry of RFKC in New Zealand.  We already had long-time relationships with friends on both the North and South Islands.  Two months later, with no pre-contact, Tricia received a call inviting us to come back “down under.” Wow...We were stunned!!

Through a miraculous gift, We were invited to spend 3 weeks traveling this beautiful country to reconnect with the families that Tricia lived with as an exchange student.  Kelvyn Fairhall is now the National Administrator for the Baptist Churches of NZ and his wife Mary is the Missions outreach director.  Through their connections, we were greeted everywhere we went with open arms and compassionate hearts toward meeting the needs of children who have been abused, neglected and abandoned.  New Zealand has over 15,000 children living in foster care...a higher per-capita rate than here in America!    The seeds for new camps have been planted in fertile soil.

TO BIRTH, TRAIN & SUSTAIN NEW CAMPS

One highlight of our summer has was hosting the Alabama Training Camp with

My primary role with Royal Family is to birth, train, and sustain camps for abused and neglected children.  Your faithful support has helped us reach more children than ever with the love of Jesus.  Every time I set foot on another camp, it takes me back to the moment when God touched my heart to make a real difference in the lives of those that are considered “throw-aways” by our society.  We have been truly blessed by you through your prayers, giving, emails and special gifts.  Thanks again for helping extend the “Rope of Hope!”
